During 2 hours, experience the real Toulouse spirit!

Along your walk you’ll get to learn the history behind the main landmarks of the city, such as the Capitole Square and its majestic Town Hall, Saint Sernin Basilica, a Romanesque masterpiece, get to stroll along the Garonne river, stop by the Gothic « Couvent des Jacobins », mother church of the Dominican order… And finally, end the tour in the gorgeous courtyard of one of the richest private mansions in Toulouse, l’Hôtel d’Assezat, to learn about what made the city so rich over time.
This tour will allow you to get your barings, snap some great photos, while learning about the

To visit Carcassonne is to take a journey back in time to 2500 years ago…..Nestled at the top of a hill, the Medieval City dominates the whole city and is said to be one of the best preserved medieval ensembles in the world. Come and discover this jewel of our history and stroll through its charming streets and alleys. It is a real immersion in the Middle Ages.

On the way back to Toulouse, stop to the lake of Saint-Ferreol and discover the history of the canal du Midi, UNESCO world heritage site.

There’s no doubt about it, the Canal du Midi is a masterpiece in hydraulics. There are countless engineering structures dotted along the route, ingenious constructions that were most definitely ahead of their time in terms of technical design.

The recognition of the canal as a UNESCO World Heritage Site is proof that it is an outstanding creation. The engineering structures and landscapes make this a priceless treasure that must be preserved and passed on to future generations.

The lake of Saint-Ferreol, a reservoir to supply the canal du Midi. For 200 years, Saint-Ferréol was the largest dam in Europe. Pierre-Paul Riquet laid the first
stone in 1667.

In the 19th century, an English landscape garden with water falls and a fountain were created below the 17th century dam wall.

During 1 hour, you wil enjoy a Zen promenade in the Japanese Garden, which is labelled a Remarkable Garden.

Located in the heart of the Compans-Caffarelli park, the Pierre Baudis Japanese garden surprises by its exoticism. A true invitation to meditation and rest, it is a synthesis of the existing gardens in Kyoto, Japan, built between the 14th and 16th centuries.

It is composed of all the characteristic elements: a staging of the mineral world, the plant world and the aquatic world decorated with typical decorative elements.

There is a dry garden with a Crane Island, a Turtle Island and nine rocks, a lake, a tea pavilion and a planted garden composed of a dry waterfall, Japanese footsteps, a lantern, a red bridge, an island of Paradise, Mount Fuji and the stones of the three saints.

Free time for lunch in Toulouse.
